The HYP Advisory Anti-Bored

With the primary goal of Hip Young Parent to unleash creative, whimsical interaction between child and caregiver, I have enlisted those nearest and dearest to me in my mission. Both my guinea pigs and inspiration, together we will brainstorm and test the best in innovative multimedia, clothes and interactive play that is enjoyable for both generations.

Nearly an adult now, my pensive honorary little brother, J.D. gives the best relationship advice of any male I know. A cool computer geek and car afficianado, he's finally learning how to break out of his shell, as he prepares to leave the nest.

I used to change Julie's diapers, and now she looks like Britney Spears. Thankfully, my boy-crazy honorary little sis is still refreshingly innocent. She is my favorite silly shopaholic and is equally a compassionate friend.

Lauren (7)
It was Lauren who first made me an Aunt, and she's been my personal Mini-Me ever since. Theatrical, imaginative and extremely well-rounded, she is in Girl Scouts, Soccer, Cheerleading and is already planning her music career.

Kaelynn (4)
My other neice Kaelynn is a wonderful combination of introspective thinker and social sprite. She loves animals and gymnastics, and looks forward to following in Lauren's footsteps in the Girl Scouts upon her graduation from Pre-K.

Aidan (2)
The youngest member of both my family and advisory, my nephew Aidan is already spouting an impressive vocabulary. Fascinated with planes, trains and automobiles, he is also a social butterfly in the making who will always greet you with a smile.
